Welcome to Gifted Hands CT. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Gifted Hand Services LLC, doing business as Gifted Hands CT (“Gifted Hands CT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to your use of our website at giftedhandsct.com, our online shop, our online booking system, our membership program, and any other services we offer through the site (together, the “Site”).

By using the Site, creating an account, making a purchase, or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About Gifted Hands CT And Our Beauty Services

Gifted Hands CT is a permanent makeup (PMU) and beauty studio based in Hartford, Connecticut, operated by a solo artist. We offer in-person services at our Hartford studio and at traveling pop-up locations, and we sell handmade skincare products through our online shop.

The Site is intended for users located in the United States. We do not target or direct the Site to users outside the US.

Eligibility Requirements For Using Our Services

• You must be at least 18 years old to book permanent makeup or other studio services, to purchase a membership, or to create an account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to make purchases on the Site.
• The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

By using the Site, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any information you give us is accurate.

Account Creation And Security Responsibilities

Some features (such as membership and order history) require an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity that happens under your account.
• Telling us promptly at support@giftedhandsct.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

Terms For Online Shop Purchases And Payments

Our online shop sells handmade skincare products (soaps and cold-pressed oils). When you place an order:

• Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax (including Connecticut sales tax) and shipping charges are added at checkout.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Your order is an offer to buy; we may decline or cancel orders in cases such as pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability. If we cancel, we refund what you paid for the cancelled items.

Shipping timelines, returns, refunds, and exchanges for shop products are governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy, available at /shipping-returns/, which is part of these Terms. Please read it before ordering.

Our skincare products are cosmetics. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always review the ingredient list and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Booking Policies For Deposits And Appointments

You can book services online through our booking system, or by contacting us via Instagram, WhatsApp, or phone.

• Most services require a deposit at the time of online booking, charged via Stripe. The remaining balance is paid in person at your appointment.
• Deposits, rescheduling, cancellations, no-shows, and late arrivals are governed by our Booking & Cancellation Policy, available at /booking-policy/, which is part of these Terms. Please read it before booking.
• Permanent makeup and related services are for clients 18 and older. We may require a consultation, health intake, or consent form before performing a service, and we may decline or discontinue a service where it would not be safe or appropriate.
• Pop-up appointment locations, dates, and availability may change. If we need to reschedule or relocate your appointment, we will contact you using the details you provided.

Results of cosmetic services vary from person to person. Information on the Site about services, healing, and aftercare is general information, not medical advice.

Gifted Circle Membership Benefits And Terms

Our paid membership program, The Gifted Circle, is governed by the Gifted Circle Membership Terms, available at /gifted-circle-terms/, which are part of these Terms. They cover pricing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and member perks. Please read them before joining.

Monthly Giveaway Eligibility And Entry Rules

The Gifted Hands CT Monthly Brow Giveaway is governed exclusively by its Official Rules, available at /giveaway-rules/. Nothing in these Terms changes, adds to, or overrides the Official Rules. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not improve your chances of winning. If anything on the Site appears to conflict with the Official Rules, the Official Rules control for the giveaway.

Affiliate Program Commission Terms And Policies

We operate an affiliate program through Partnero at affiliates.giftedhandsct.com. Participation in the affiliate program is governed by our separate Affiliate Program Terms, available at /affiliate-terms/. Among other things, affiliates must clearly disclose their material connection to us when promoting our products or services, as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides. These Terms of Service do not create any affiliate relationship.

User Conduct Expectations And Restrictions

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Break any law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Submit false booking information, place fraudulent orders, or use stolen payment methods.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other accounts, or our systems.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest content or data from the Site by automated means without our written permission.
• Interfere with the Site’s operation, including introducing malware or overloading our infrastructure.
• Abuse promotions, discounts, giveaway entries, or affiliate tracking (for example, self-referrals or manufactured transactions).
• Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff, other clients, or other users.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, cancel orders or bookings, and take other reasonable steps if you violate these Terms.

Intellectual Property Rights And Content Ownership

The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, photos, service descriptions, product descriptions, and the “Gifted Hands CT” name and branding) are owned by Gifted Hand Services LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without our written permission.

Client photos. Before and after photos of clients displayed on the Site or our social media are used only with the client’s consent. If you are a client and want a photo of you removed, contact us at support@giftedhandsct.com and we will remove it.

If you send us feedback, reviews, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, though we will not use your name or likeness in advertising without your consent.

Third Party Services Limitations And External Links

The Site uses third-party services, including Stripe (payments), our booking platform, our membership billing platform, Partnero (affiliate program), Meta platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, and advertising tools), and Google Fonts. The Site may also link to external websites and social media pages.

We do not control third-party services or websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy-policy/, for details on how these services handle data.

Gigi AI Chat Assistant Usage Terms And Limits

The Site offers “Gigi,” an AI chat assistant that can answer questions about our services, products, and booking.

• Gigi is an automated assistant, not a human, and it may make mistakes. Its responses are for general information only.
• Gigi’s answers are not binding offers, price quotes, medical advice, or confirmed bookings.
• Always confirm appointment times, availability, pricing, and service details directly with the studio (through the booking system, or by phone, WhatsApp, or email) before relying on them.

We are not liable for decisions you make based solely on chatbot responses.

Service Warranty Disclaimers And User Risks

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Site itself, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

This section applies to the Site and its content. It does not take away warranties or consumer protections that apply to products you buy or services you receive from us and that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.

Limitation Of Liability For Gifted Hands CT

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Site.
• Our total liability to you for claims arising out of or relating to the Site, an order, or a booking is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the product, service, or membership giving rise to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, $100).

These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification Responsibilities Under These Terms

If your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of law causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to reimburse us for the reasonable losses, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) we incur as a direct result. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own negligence or misconduct.

Governing Law and Venue For Legal Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Site that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there. This section does not override consumer protections of your home state that apply to you by law, and it does not prevent either of us from using small claims court where eligible.

How We May Update These Service Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we will take reasonable additional steps to notify you (for example, a notice on the Site or an email to account holders). Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to orders or bookings already completed.

Severability and Other General Legal Terms

• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable part is replaced with an enforceable term that comes closest to the original intent.
• Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• These Terms, together with the policies they reference (Shipping & Returns Policy, Booking & Cancellation Policy, Gifted Circle Membership Terms, Privacy Policy, the Giveaway Official Rules, and, if you join the affiliate program, the Affiliate Program Terms), are the full agreement between you and us about the Site.
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
