Permanent Makeup Results And Variations
Permanent makeup (including ombre and combination brows, microblading, lip blush, eyeliner, and scalp micropigmentation) is an art applied to living skin. Results vary from person to person and depend on factors we cannot fully control, including:
- Skin type, texture, and oiliness
- Age, skin tone, and undertones
- Lifestyle (sun exposure, exercise, smoking, skincare products)
- Medications, health conditions, and how your body heals
- How closely you follow aftercare instructions
For these reasons, no specific result, color, shape, or retention level is guaranteed. Two clients receiving the same service can heal to different results.
Healing Process After Permanent Makeup
Healed results take time. It is normal for treated areas to appear darker, bolder, or more intense immediately after the procedure, then to soften, lighten, or appear patchy during healing. Flaking, scabbing, mild swelling, tenderness, and temporary color changes are normal parts of the process. True healed results are typically visible after the full healing cycle (often 4-6 weeks, longer for some services and skin types). Please do not judge your final result until healing is complete.
Touch Ups For Brows Lips And Liner
Most PMU services are a multi-step process. A touch-up or perfecting session is often needed to refine shape and color after the first session heals, and periodic color refreshes may be needed over time as pigment naturally fades. Unless a service listing clearly states that a touch-up is included, touch-up and refresh sessions are priced and booked separately at additional cost.

- Natural ingredients can still cause reactions. Review the ingredient list before use, especially if you have known allergies (including nut or seed allergies, as some oils are nut- or seed-derived).
- Patch test first. Apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm and wait 24-48 hours. Discontinue use immediately if redness, itching, irritation, or any other reaction occurs, and consult a physician if symptoms persist.
- Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Handmade products may vary slightly in color, scent, and texture between batches; this is normal.

Allergy and Patch Testing Before Cosmetic Services
PMU pigments, numbing agents, henna, and skincare preparations can cause allergic reactions in some people. If you have sensitive skin, metal sensitivities, or a history of allergic reactions, tell us before your appointment. A patch test is available on request for applicable services and is recommended at least 48-72 hours before your procedure. Even with a patch test, no method can rule out all reactions.
